As soon as I passed the registration I downloaded their proprietary mobile trading platform and I was expecting that it would be a challenge for me to understand its functionality but actually it was easy to understand where and what buttons I needed to click.

I was trading a demo version of the Metatrader 4 platform but I didn’t like it at all, so their own platform is better many times and I think this is suitable for traders of any level.

It is a pity that they offer only the MT4 platform but anyway their own trading platform is a big advantage for the IronFX company! I have traded through many other platforms but this one is totally different. The user interface is intuitive and even if you have never seen this platform before, you will be able to adjust pretty easily without any struggles.

The diversity of pending orders is also great and I can use multiple trading strategies. There are also many different technical indicators available for effective trading and analysis.

When i first put some money, I spend some time searching for options, fees and withdrawal rules on the FAQ section. Live chat would also be an option to find answers to these questions, but please do a separate section of the website with all payment related info.

The payment itself wasn't a problem, put some money with credit card, didnt see any problems.

Despite that I don't trust any "professionals" from internet, I entrusted process of my training to this broker.

I decided that I had to get enough knowledge before I start real trading.

Right now I'm trading on Ironfx demo account. I use it to test ideas that I see when studying broker's educational materials.

I'm especially inspired by analytcal videos that broker posts on its youtube channel.

I don’t care about wide or tight spreads like many other traders because I prefer trading swing position strategy and usually I hold positions for several weeks or even months and luckily, IronFX provides cheap swap fees which don’t bite a huge piece of my deposit during holding positions.

By the way, I mainly trade through a phone and their proprietary mobile trading application is really multifunctional and easy to use at the same time. I should admit that it is more convenient trading on financial markets than via computer for me.

I’ve wanted to have a proper STP account for a long time. Basically since I stopped being a newbie lol

at one point i realized that it’s a much better option than standard accounts even with the good market execution. Let alone the instant one with endless slippages and annoying requotes during high volatility.

Ironfx reviews were okay and the overall reputation is above average. If you search Ironfx online it will be in many top-5 lists of the forex broker. It means something.

As for the additional services like Copy trading or pmam, i’m not interested in them so far. So far it’s just me and my intraday trading style.

Must admit, it was not an easy process to decide which account to use. IronFX has crafted a pretty interesting selection of accounts, and it took me a while to calculate the costs of trading for each one. It was interesting, though.

I was doing the maths using examples from my trading and saw how the same trade would perform with different accounts. In the end I decided to go with the VIP account. For my trading strategy this was the most beneficial in terms of costs. Tight spreads and no commissions were appealing.

I have read somewhere on the internets that they dont have good support, but it is the opposite actually 😭 I asked few question about spreads and their options, and they emailed me answers, with links and all. We even had a chat about what should I go with. Wish every business was like this.

I have found the Ironfx broker due to some of the reviews I faced online. When I was browsing one of the hugest forums devoted to trading, people told me that it's a safe place to delve into trading at.



I listened to their advice and opened an account here. Now I am still on the demo, trying to understand where "make money" button to push :D

Jokes aside, customer support helps me for real. They react quickly on my inquiries and it's thoughtful of them.

I would like to share how I made a tremendous profit on the USD/JPY currency pair. If you didn’t know, then check it out on your trading platform that bull run on this currency pair lasts more than 5 years and since that moment the line chart is in a bullish trend and it is quite impressive. I hope it will last longer because I prefer to trade only long positions. However, I think the swaps fees for overnight positions could have been cheaper.
