Rocked up to Top Stitch in the CBD on a Monday, thinking I’d be in and out. Their sign clearly says they open at 9:30am – I waited outside like an idiot until 10:13am before anyone even showed up. No note on the door, no notice, nothing. Just left standing there.
When the woman finally turned up, she was blunt and downright rude. No “sorry for the wait,” just opened the door like I was annoying her. Went in to get some simple measurements done, and before I could even get a word in, she tells me it’s $245 for three pairs of pants. Are you kidding me? No explanation, no quote, just threw out the price like I was supposed to say yes and hand over my card.
Honestly, the whole experience was a joke. Unprofessional, overpriced, and just plain bad attitude. It was so obviously a scam. There are heaps of decent and most definitely more honest tailors in the city — don’t waste your time or money at Top Stitch.
