With us Mountain Conveyancing breached law by not declaring a building-permit on the property we were purchasing until found out the day before settlement day. This building then failed council inspection. Mountain Conveyancing refused to take any responsibility, not providing resolution, just delaying settlement for a week, making promises they did not keep, which cost us much more. Only when we tried to cancel our contract with them did they eventually move.
Mountain Conveyancing employs no lawyers. So when they do not follow the law as in our case, they take no responsibility to fix and make legal, which is essential in real-estate transfers.
