RJ Garage Doors

We have recently had our 20-year-old garage panel lift motor and chain replaced by RJ Garage Doors. The new 4DS2 v1 unit is so much quieter than the old unit. The service of both the office and the installers was both courteous and professional and the installers were punctual and efficient. (A rare thing in this age and time) Bravo.

RJ garage doors are garbage.

Don’t spend your hard earned with these guys.

I had a roller door for 23 years worked perfect until the spring lost tension.

RJ said they could not change the spring and that the door needed to be changed.

So we went ahead.

First door lasted 2 months, second 11 months.

With a gust of wind the door buckled and came off it’s rails.

For 23 years the previous door was fine.

After the first door was trashed they made me agree that if they replaced it, that I would hav3 no recourse.

So I agreed, otherwise I would hav3 been left with a dangerous door, just like I am now.

Doors are manufactured from very thin steel.

I’m thankful no one was hurt.

Deal with them at your peril.

I've had both a roller door and sectional door installed on my carport 3 months ago. No problems except for the roller door lock being very stiff to open. As they suggested by them it is now loosening up over time. All work was done well to convert the carport except the installers should have covered my window to protect it from the metal slag. Would recommend.

We had a technician come out for a general service and after this, found the garage door not quite working as did it before.
When we called to express our problem, we were told it was our motor was in 'poor condition'. We were never told this by the technician and it was already in 'poor condition' before without having this issue before the service. So much for warranty, I'm sure this is in breech of ACCC guidelines.

Good customer service initially when booking the appointment but the technician had no suggestions for why our garage opener was only working intermittently other than to suggest replacing it with a German motor for $1,400. The only reason I went with this company was because they had Merlin accreditation yet the technician said that he could not get spare parts for the motor nor would he bother repairing it. He then sprayed some lubricant on the door, charged me $150 for 5 minutes work and left. Definitely would not recommend this company if you want motor repairs done because all they seem to be interested in is to replace motors with expensive alternatives.

found the company to do excellent work. No problem getting service after installation. Very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend.

On both occasions that I have dealt with this company I have found their customer service excellent. The technician who attended was on time, friendly and professional.

The staff in the office were very friendly and helpful.

Can't thank you enough for your help in listening to and resolving the problem. Very unprofessional. Took a deposit and never bothered to communicate. Didn't turn up for installation 4 times and finally when they did - they had the wrong door. This is what happens when you try to go cheap. To this date my garage door is not installed and waiting for them to call me.....
