Formally the Bender Bar this neighbourhood hangout is a great spot for just about anything.
Enjoy a local beer in the courtyard, catch a band or head upstairs for a hearty Italian meal, with dinners are served until late on Friday and Saturday nights.
While some may lament the loss of the all-night deep fryer that once upon a time pumped out mini dim sims and calamari until closing time, the Thornbury local is a great spot with friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere.
