Wellcamp Furniture Removals

They moved me from Warwick to Toowoomba, originally they were supposed to arrive to Warwick at 8 30am. The day before they contacted me to say original driver was sick and another driver and offsider would be there but they had to unload first and get to Warwick about 10 30. Got there around 11am, they took 6hrs to load a mixture of 11items of furniture, dismantle 3 beds and a day bed, fridge and freezer. Also about 30 boxes and an array of shed items. Kept stopping for smoke and drink breaks. Both seemed in bad moods and not wanting to be there. Left Warwick at 5pm with a stopover at Wyreema to remove a a wardrobe and 4 other small items then reaching my home in Toowoomba around 6pm. About 1 - 1 1/2hrs later they were joined by a third person ( young female) original offsider went and sat in the truck not long after as not feeling well. Very slow in unloading and only able to remake one bed as they just dumped the boxes anywhere in the other 2 bedrooms and unable to make the other 2 beds. Around 10pm got pressured to pay for the move, when asked how much I was told $3,600.00. After several minutes of debating this the price then came down to $3,087.00. Still not happy, I paid some that night and after another pressured phone call the next day, paid the rest. I wanted an itemised account but I had to pay first. After receiving the itemised account on there was 4hrs of overtime for 3 people, I am still debating about that, because if they had turned up at 8 30 in the morning as first arranged there would most like have been no overtime. Afer a couple of phone calls to there office I keep getting told the boss of Wellcamp Removals is not available. Unbelievable it took 11 1/2hrs to move from Warwick to Toowoomba. Don't use them on hourly rate, totally rip-off
