Dealing with the admin staff at this organisation is not a good experience. The incompetence is astounding to me and has caused me considerable (and very much avoidable) upset. I have chosen to take my referral elsewhere. It’s one thing to be incompetent but to insult my intelligence at the same time is both ironic and unprofessional.

How long does it take to get the results for a thyroid ultrasound? It's been 3 weeks and have an appointment with a specialist on Friday. I was just in at my GP's and even she said she doesn't like referral people to them anymore. She had to phone them to ask where my results were and try and get an urgent put on them. So if I spend over $300 to see an endocrinologist and results are not even there what are they doing? I was told 2 weeks for results which is appalling anyway. I wait an extra wekk and still not there. The pathetic 1800 is also utterly ridiculous even my GP was on hold for 15 minutes in my appointment today? Forget about trying to get through to yo the same people. Absolutely pathetic. People need there results sooner. No one answers the phone. Even when I had to get a steroid shot at the Latrobe Hospital, now they are looking at surgery as it's worse than when I had it done. Nothing they do is right and they can't get it together!!!

Had a Coronary CT Angiogram, with I-Med Radiology at Latrobe Valley Regional Hospital, and I cannot speak highly enough of those who assisted with my procedure. Every detail was explained fully, and although usually apprehensive where Camnnula insertion is concerned, both the Doctors, and Nurse, made sure I was comfortable which enabled a virtually pain free experience. The Nurses before, during, and after my procedure displayed a high level of professionalism, and compassion/care. Keep up the excellent work!
