Indian Experience

Enjoyed a great meal with a gathering of friends. The staff were super friendly and very helpful. Food was great, some of the best Indian cuisine I’ve ever had!

This Indian restaurant has new owners, and the food tastes really authentic. The place looks nicer, and they serve a lot of different Indian dishes. If you like Indian food, you should check it out!

Indian Restaurant at Tuggerah was a HORRIBLE experience.

After seeing two promising reviews I had high hopes for Indian Experience at Tuggerah, unfortunately after over 2 hours of waiting without any phone call, those hopes soon faded.

I ordered a whole Tandori Chicken, two Nentara and a tomato and onion salad.
I ordered it to be delivered to Wyong. Locals would be aware that Wyong is the next suburb to Tuggerah where Indian Experience Restaurant is located, about 5min in the car, so this order shouldn't have taken too long to arrive.
This was not the case.

I placed this order at 5.50pm.
I received an SMS confirmation 10 minutes later stating that the delivery time would be at 6.49pm.

After waiting and having no communication from the resturant I decided to call them at 7.20pm - 30min after the supposed delivery time.
After ringing twice, some employee answered the phone on my third attempt.
I asked whether the driver had left as it had been over 30min since the expected delivery time.
Finally at 8.10 the delivery man showed up. He offered no help.

After unwrapping the food, it was luke-warm, not hot. The Tandoori chicken was mediocre at best and did not come as a WHOLE chicken as advertised. It came as a couple of legs and breast. This is false advertising.

As for the Nentara, it is advertised as "fresh garden vegetables in season, deliciously spiced for a gourmet"... this description is also misleading.
All I got was a heap of peas, corn and cauliflower. VERY disappointing. You could hardly taste ANY spice also.

I have ordered from many different types of restaurants on Menulog in Sydney and I have NEVER had an experience like this.

Indian Experience at Tuggerah has extremely poor customer service, poor verbal communication skills with English speaking customers, and mediocre food that arrives very late and cold.

I will NEVER eat from this restaurant again and I will advise everyone I know to NEVER eat at Indian Experience at Tuggerah.
TERRIBLE service.
