We entrusted John to pave our brand new pool and surrounding stairs and pathways in a beautiful limestone paver. We ended up with the majority of the job being done by his two younger apprentices and unfortunately the inexperience of the apprentices and the lack of supervision by John shows in the finish. Our pool slab wasn't leveled prior to his apprentices gluing the pavers directly to the slab, even though our quote stated 're-bed the concrete slabs where required.' We have uneven paving around our pool to the point where we cannot have a waterline tile inside the pool, as the tile would further highlight the unevenness of the paving job. We also have a noticeable hump in the pool area. We asked John to come back and to fix the issues with which his first response was at our cost. John came back and re-laid a total of 4 pavers and blamed the concreters for not providing a level slab in the first place. We ended up getting our money back on the waterline tiles as these could not be returned to the supplier and a refund of $300 where the slab wasn't re-bedded. If John was present on our job we may have had a better finish. Unfortunately we have been left with an amateur finish.

Avoid. Would definitely not recommend.
