      6 Years of faulty Smoke Alarms

      I have lived in government housing for 6 years. Every year the smoke detectors are tested and found to be faulty. Some go off for no reason, some have faulty back up batteries. The one I have currently I tested a week after installation and it has faulty back up battery. In 6 years a faultless track record of providing dodgy technicians and equipment.
