Great service

I can not recommend The Vet Lounge enough. The team were fantastic at my recent visit. I have never had a vet spend the time to show me why my dog keeps getting ear infections.

A lovely vet practice that really cares about animals

If I could rate higher than 5 stars I would!

Not long after settling into our new home we looked into our local vet choices and decided to try The Vet Lounge. We knew our furbaby needed some dental work and thought we'd ask for some general advice. Boy am I glad we did!

We received some of the best Veterinary service and advice of our life that day. That visit saved our little boys life!

During our consult, the vet noticed a small pea sized lump our cats belly/breast. We knew it was there, but it didn't bother him, so we were not concerned. But the Vet was. We were walked through our options and then provided with an estimate. We immediately agreed with the Vets recommendations.

The lump was confirmed cancerous. Our little boy had surgery to remove the tumor/ nipple. While he was under aesthetic, the vet found 5 other tumors! They were also removed.

The nurses stayed with our little boy in recovery and we were given updates. He had so many stitches in his belly, but we were told how to care for 'Chewy' and he healed beautifully. From start to finish, from the care was just incredible.

We did go back for that teeth clean later too. We were shown a great little overview of the procedure which really helped us understand the Vet and the cost. I felt very informed and comfortable.

Honestly the most caring and thorough Vets and nurses I've ever experienced. It's clear the owners and everyone that works here love animals. If I could use them as my own GP, I would!

I'm so glad we found them.

Unprofessional

We took out Cat, Misty in for an ear check up and was told she neeed to have grade one dental work. We were quoted $399 to have this done. A week later we took her in for the dental work to be done only to be told that it will cost $115 for a blood test that needed to be done as she was 12 years old. The age of Misty was known before the original quote and should have been included in that original quote and not put on someone at the last moment once the pet is already at the surgery. Upon follow up I asked to speak to a manager about this. There was not one there as it was the weekend. I did just get a call back from Stacy who said that the blood test was optional and did not have to get done. I explained to her that is was not indicated as being optional due to her age and she then proceeded to say well you accepted it and if we could not afford it then we could have said no. I said we could afford it it was not that it is simply bad practice to quote a lower price and then add something on at a later stage when it was what affects that price was already known. I would only hate to think of what they might add to larger operations to play to the owners emotion to make more money. Would no longer recommend this Vet clinic based on this type of practice.
