Hooked On Tiling

Be aware of this Charlatan. Do not employ him. Got him to do a job and this is what he did. Turned up, made a mess of the whole site and did not clean up. Scratched paint off the wall. Does not know how to cut tiles and left a lot of wastage causing me to have to buy more tiles. Stole packets of tiles. Tiles he laid were cracked or chipped and had to be removed and replaced. 8 tiles were not pressed in and were sticking out 3mm and had to be replaced. The tiler who fixed his mess took photos and wrote a report so I can take him to court for my money back. Delayed my job by 4 weeks because he did a runner. I am in Sydney and the house is in Newcastle so he was being trusted. BIG mistake. He rang and said he was sick and then said he had cash flow issues and could I give him a part payment. He then did a runner because he could not fix all the damage that he had done. I will see Lloyd from Hooked On Tiling in court.
