Response To Gabriel Lo

Attention: Gabriel, Allison, Mei, and David

Gabriel this has become a harassment issue. You are engaging people we have not conducted works for to write negative reviews.

As previously explained in Allison’s reply. We did explain what the works required were and the process in which a leak is located.

We did give you a discount on your invoice.

You are now taking this to a level where I will seek advice if you, Allison, Mei and David persist, or you engage others to write negative reviews.

We pride ourselves on our reputation we have built in the local community for over 25 years.

Disappointed service provider

I was disappointed with my experience. There were additional costs that were only disclosed after the work was done. The company relied on a third party to identify the problem, which resulted in extra charges. The invoice was unclear and showed a lump sum rather than an itemized breakdown. Overall, I felt the service did not provide good value for money, and I would not recommend it.

Overpriced and hidden cost, unfair charges in Frontline Plumbings

I contacted Paul regarding a leak in my house water piping. Five days later, he arranged for a leak detection specialist, which cost $395 for a 15-minute job to locate the leak. Paul then charged $550 for a 37-minute job replacing two T-joints in the hot and cold water pipes.

The total came to $958. After I called to query the charges, Paul reduced the bill by $100, bringing it to $857. I still feel this was excessive, as the total work time was about one hour, and plumbing rates are typically around $160 per hour.

Overall, I was left feeling disappointed with the cost relative to the time and work involved.

Poor service by Frontline Plumbing in Wangara

My husband and I were disappointed with the service provided by Frontline Plumbing in Wangara.

Safety Practices:

On the day, two plumbers attended to fix copper piping. One was wearing thongs on the worksite and said he was the owner’s father there to supervise. However, he was often on his mobile phone. We were concerned this was unsafe and could risk injury on our property.

Professionalism:

The job was straightforward and could have been handled by one plumber. It appeared the working plumber might have been an apprentice.

Attention to Detail:

After the work was completed, the water system was not tested. Because the job involved both hot and cold water pipes, sand entered the hot water lines, causing our gas heater (mixer) to stop working and clogging some tap filters. My husband spent hours fixing these issues after they left.

Billing:

Although they were on-site for less than one hour, we were charged for three hours of labour. We feel this was not fair value for the service provided.
