If you wanna stressed out book this hall, such a bad service by the owner. I booked this hall a month ago, after exchanging all the details I paid the advance money and then all the drama starts, he was so nice before the advance money but after a week of advance he called me and said he did double booking on my wedding day so I have to change the date, it was only 1 week so we managed to do that and then after a month of that conversation he called me again and said I have to change the date or the venue again because he has done the double booking again, I said I can’t do it because I already booked other services and paid advance to them as well. He said if you can’t change take the refund, I said you can’t do this and then he said he will call me again and after that he stopped picking up my phone and then I was txting him and then again no response. Unprofessional, I live in Tasmania because of that I couldn’t able to physically go and talk to him, not recommended at all.

Don’t deal with Krishan Chawla, He will say again n again my service is the best and will try to impress to get your advance money and then everything gonna start, If he will get more people booking at the same day you are booked, he will definitely ask you to change the date or the venue. Don’t go with this hall, save your time and money because he won’t refund easily. Not recommended at all.

We were happy to be squashed in for the sake of being there, however for $95 a head I don't consider this acceptable. The waiters were rude, There was not enough food. one meal was a small piece of Angus beef with garnish on the top and nothing else - no vegies or side salad. The dessert was about 3 mouthfuls if you were lucky with half a strawberry on the side. yes there were hundreds of us heading to Macca's afterwards.

My entree didn't arrive, had to make repeated requests,
My dessert didn't arrive asked a waiter to find it, said yes, did nothing - asked another waiter now packing up our table also said yes he'd get it did nothing, then made another request, finally came - a plate of chopped
fruit -apples, oranges watermelon. Hmm for $95 don't think that's adequate. half way through eating it they took it from me - they had to pack up!!!

Having attended several functions at the Grand, and finding it somewhere between "not horrible" and "okay", I must say that food at the lastest event dragged it down to "I wouldn't accept that for a strangers grand parents, even if they were really nasty people". The serving staff are efficient, the venue is conveniently located, that parking and facilities are fine, but google the nearest late night takeaway for on the way home. Extremely disappointing for $80 per head.
