"No Soup For You"
Well this is my first hand experience without the soup but with a straw....
Being a local, I want to help the small businesses in my area rather than go to McDonalds. So after a Root Canal procedure I was hungry and thirsty but unsure of what I wanted with a mouth half numbed up. I walked into the shop and browsed around. I was met by the woman behind the counter that offered assistance and I let her know that was I just browsing. While Considering what I wanted I asked for a straw,
and she said "where is your drink"
I replied "I have one in my bag"
(bottle of water but mouth half numbed need a straw)
And she stated "no drink, no straw"
And I was so shocked that I walked out of that shop very annoyed. I will never support this business and people like her have no place in our small towns where Humanity and simple acts of Kindness are still found.
