Gawler Taxi & Hire Car Service

About a half hour before my appointment I got into my car and it wouldn’t start. I quickly called this taxi service. And they were here in 15 minutes. I have nothing but good things to say about this company now I’ve only use them once but my experience with them was excellent.

4 phone calls, 1 hour, still no taxi. Week day & weekends. Latest request 2 weeks ago. Local member for Light, has no answers. Come on Suburban.

Had no available taxis lol. Couldn't tell me when one would be available.

Always on time. Can’t say that about the other mob who have canceled on me when they were already late. Nice drivers. Clean cars

Picked up around noon on a weekday. $6.95 flagfall plus another $1 on the back end of the fare which totalled $16.80. This to go a total of 3.6km in an old car. Will never use again.

Hi i love gawler taxis and use them alot..i do however have a complaint about the advertisement on the boot of your cars,they are to heavy for the boot to stay open on its own and i have been hit on the head with the boot. Im not bothred about it but it also means the driver has to hold the boot open therefore cannot help with the shopping,im able to take my own shopping out but the elderly and disabled cant..its very windy today and its even more of a Hazzard thankyou for reading

Just to give you heads up reviewers, this company name is incorrect. Gawler taxi, is not owned under this company name. This company was sold over 3 years ago and does not include the hire cars. Thanks all.

The most pathetic excuse for a taxi service, waited in the main street of Gawler for one hour for a cab that would be picking me up in five mins, driver thought it was very funny as i went to get in the cab whilst a drunk tramp was right next to me! Tonight was around 4 degrees! In the cab, i must admit i was annoyed, the driver, still laughing told me not to worry, life goes on, then proceeded to ask me if i thought i would die tomorrow???? What a nob, Gawler taxis will never be used again!!!!!
