The Strand

It was our wedding anniversary and we wanted to have a special dining experience. Based on reviews wed read we decided to try The Strand. Its in a good location, nice view and provides a nice opportunity to walk along the pier either before or after your booking. There was a wedding reception on the 2nd floor and so it must be pretty good to be selected for such a special event.
The menu was impressive and their specials board was good too. We decided to have the seafood paella, and whilst it looked impressive when served up it unfortunately failed to hit the spot. It was good, but not great. Nonetheless we had a nice evening the staff were friendly, the environment was fairly cosy and everyone dining there looked happy, and thus it created a happy mood for us as well.
