Stay Away from Freedom Kitchens

I nearly made the mistake of using Emstrom Pty Ltd / Freedom Kitchens for my kitchen renovations. After poor communication from Freedom staff in getting a date for my final inspection and measurements. I then googled Freedom Kitchens and read the many bad reviews. I had already put a deposit down and I was willing to lose half of it if not all just to get out before the job started. I did not want to go through what so many people have had to endure with Freedom Kitchens, many people waiting months to get the job completed after the job was started in their home. It is disgusting what Freedom kitchens are doing to people. Stay away from them.

DON'T FALL INTO THIS TRAP!

I have no words to express my utmost disappointment with the abysmal service provided by Freedom's Kitchen. Despite repeated attempts at resolving the ongoing installation issue, I am appalled by the lack of urgency and professionalism displayed by their team.



After enduring 15 WEEKS of a dysfunctional kitchen resulting from the initial poor design and installation by Freedom Kitchens team is unacceptable. The consistent delay in the resolution timeline has not only inconvenienced my family but has also disrupted our daily lives significantly.



In addition to the extended delay, the utter lack of responsiveness from the customer service team and the assigned installer is deeply concerning. Multiple calls made over several hours have yielded zero answers, leaving me stranded and frustrated with the lack of support from their end.



This is only to show the poor design and workmanship of the Freedom Kitchen team, which has directly contributed to this prolonged inconvenience. They have taken no responsibility for the misfortune their service has caused. 1 year since we signed the contract and paid for the deposit and yet we don't have a kitchen!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

What was what we thought going to be a great experience quickly went downhill after the money was paid. Parts missing to the kitchen. Wrong components. Measurements missing on plans then the say you’ve signed off so it my fault. Designer didn’t listen and didn’t mark up plans correctly. Tried several times to sort it out with customer service only to cop a barrage of abuse from them where in the end I had to hang up. Finally got onto upper management and even they were not willing to help with all issues and wiping their hands of their mistakes.



It’s been over a month now since the part kitchen went in and still bits missing and Freedom Kitchens still have done nothing



Warning to all. Buy your kitchen elsewhere

Freedom Kitchens

Freedom Kitchens - I would call them the Disaster Kitchens. We have had nothing but trouble right from the start. Nothing lines up in the kitchen, we ordered a charcoal cabinets along the back, they sent 2 x white doors to fit in the middle, Kick boards are not in line, one is out by 20mm at one end, the cabinets between either side of the dishwasher don't line up and there a bow in the middle. Cabinets along the back wall are out of alignment. Would not recommend Freedom Kitchens to my worse enemy. Its been 4 weeks now and still can't use the kitchen, theres a lot of other problems that are not listed here. Installer got his boy to fit and never even came back to chack the work. Freedom Kitchen support team do not even respond to emails, phone calls, If anyoThe old saying "Get the money and run" thats them to a tee. If anyone wants more info please contact me. Go with another company that will support their product.

Appalling service

Freedom are very good at marketing and engagement. Anything after that is appalling. They have taken my money and delivered nothing. Their technical process and understanding of the construction, installation and delivery for a kitchen is amateur to say the least and their communication is even worse. I paid my deposit on 17 Feb. They have since demanded my final payment to progress and I reluctantly paid it. It is now 6 May and they have confirmed half of my kitchen should be delivered in 2 weeks but don't know when my doors and drawers will be delivered! Crazy. Don't risk doing business with Freedom. You will be bitterly disappointed.

We signed a contract with Freedom Kitchens before reading some of the very poor reviews online. Despite negative reviews, I hoped our experience would be different. Sadly, I was wrong. Our first experience with Freedom Kitchens was good and our designer was knowledgeable and helpful, however things went downhill from there. To cut a long story short, it took Freedom Kitchens four months to deliver our kitchen - far longer than we were led to believe it would take. Due to their (rather nonsensical) processes which they will not vary from, (i.e. Won't do final measure until plaster is on the wall despite any good builder being able to do this measurement without the plaster and then make the necessary deductions) we were forced to demolish our existing kitchen early in the process and we then lived with four children (including an infant) and no kitchen for another three months. At every stage in their processes, we experienced lengthy lag times. Freedom did not appear at all concerned about our individual situation despite my numerous requests. When the kitchen was finally ready, we arranged to be home from work on delivery day, only to get a call at 9am to say we would not receive our delivery that day. I was furious and made a formal complaint. I was offered a small and rather insulting figure by way of compensation. I declined this offer and requested that my complaint be further investigated. This was approximately six weeks ago now, and despite following up with Freedom a number of times, we haven't heard a thing back from them. Not even an acknowledgment of my email. Please beware and don't make the same mistake as us. They are just another big company who do not care about the little man once you've signed on the dotted line...
