The old its the banks fault for not returning your Bond ! I honestly don't think he returns any bonds until you realise and ring up to chase it up ! How many excuses can this guy come up with ?

Trucks are rough to say at best , do not use this company

I have used these guys lots of times they have the best rates. I once pranged one of the utes and it needed a new fender, i expected a bill but i actually got a little of my $300 deposit back. They keept the costs right down, i was so happy. The only thing i would suggest is use a cash deposite because it took ages to come back when i used eftpos. The utes are not flash but they do the job allright. Ive seen some negitive stuff here but i have to say i have found them to be excellent and very honest and fair.

Very bad experience with this mob of chumps.
Worst customer service, and run down vehicles. The truck broke down with a flat battery, by then it was fully loaded ready to go to Botany to meet a plane to China. Needless to say we did not make it .
No compensation was offered and we where treated like fools. This cost us $300 in labour as it took 2 days instead of one.
Had I read any of these reviews I would never have used them.
Stay clear of this business

It has been company policy not to reply to vexations comments about our services. Suffice it to say that in the last 5 years we have conducted over 10,000 transactions and business has continually increased. Over 30 % of our customers are regular repeat clients. It also is not easy for us, as some will actually dictate trading terms to us; But Mr Phang has taken it to a whole new level, demanding a cash refund for a favourable comment on Yellow pages! He hired a 4.5 ton pantec for two days and travelled 560 km, all that for $260, he did not supply a fuel receipt as per contract (to cover only the distance that he travelled) we have a full time detailer and all vehicles are cleaned as required and are marked non-smoking. We try to please as many people as possible, but sometimes its not humanly possible to achieve. We have not had any Fair Trading issues, only a very small percentage of nameless/ faceless individuals with their own agenda that have complained. Company policy will remain the same: No cash payments or discounts for favourable comments, only honest service at a fair price.

Very bad customer service. Truck not fully fueled as advertised, very old truck and stinks like garbage dump. Total dissapointment.

I am only giving a 1 star because I cant give a zero. First things first DO NOT use this business! I used these guys due to the cheap rates but this was a bad decision. The trucks are so old and in bad condition and are a hazard on the roads. We were supposed to have the truck all weekend but due to their incompetence they double booked and we only had the truck for half the time but had to pay the same price and we were unable to find another truck to hire on such short notice. Next thing that happened was that the truck broke down and we were not offered any compensation for this. So not only did we have the truck for half the time it broke down as well. On a customer service side of things, they are downright rude and the older man is extremely condescending. The next issue was getting our bond back. We were advised that it could take up to 14 business days to get the bond back so we waited however it never went in. After countless calls to them and with them putting the blame on the banks saying they were slow then blaming us saying my card had expired (my card didn't expire till the end of august meaning they had 18 business days), we then had to go to fair trading who told us to put in a letter of demand to them and it was only then did we finally get the bond back. So it only took 25 business days, numerous calls and threatening fair trading to get our bond back. This business should be shut down as we are not the only people who have had to make a fair trading complaint. DO NOT hire from this business and always read reviews. I know I will from now on.

If you want cheap and nasty, this is the place to go. The diesel pantec truck I hired was extremely run down and didn't even turn off after I took the keys out?!?!?! It kept running!! When I returned it after filling the tank up full, the owner proceeded to tell me that I didn't put enough fuel in the tank for the amount of kms I used (no surprise the fuel gauge didn't work either) and charged me extra. Even though the fuel was spilling out of the tank when I filled it up. Definitely a company to stay clear of. Go with a trusted hire company. It will actually be cheaper for you.

Disgusting customer service. Took 28 days to receive our bond back, after having to constanly chase it up. Not upfront with all hire costs. Extremely rude. Will never use this business again.
