Coastal Taxis

Waiting for over 2 and a half pretty much 3 hours. Useless

Waiting over 2 hrs and 50 mins useless it's not a joke you are the joke

Originally started off great. Booked cab today in the heat, received okay from call center, after 1 hour waiting in 35 degree heat, received message on phone to say NO CAB AVAILABLE.



Will not use again.

My go to when I need a quick cab to make the shops before they shut, always have had a great service, the guys who pick me up have been always a pleasure to deal with. Highly recommend.

They wouldn't even tell us if our VERY DRUNK friend had even been picked up! We had no idea and were sitting around for hours. Do not recommend

I visited Wonthaggi for an important appointment and was a little concerned about booking a taxi with Coastal taxis after reading the reviews. I gave myself plenty of time to expect my taxi and Part (I hope I got the name right!) turned up on time. He was kind enough to make a few necessary stops before my appointment and said a sweet little prayer for me wishing me the best for my interview. He even showed me where to take a bus afterwards. Wonthaggi is sure a blessed place!

The drivers are great but the business is run so badly. I know Uber are coming to the area and Coastal will lose a great deal of their business. After being dropped at the Wonthaggi Hospital, one extremely hot day, and after making five calls to Coastal, I had to wait three hours to get a ride home. Please, for the customers and the sake of the drivers , put on more drivers.

The majority of the drivers are delightful but the business is so poorly run, you can't get estimated wait times, bookings get lost and reservations are not honored. The owner evidently won't do anything to improve service to customers until Uber makes it to the area at which point it will be to late to appease the loyal clientele who have been jerked around for years, ever since they changed to a call centre

This service is a joke. Waiting 2 hours for a taxi before the main pub closes is ridiculous! Get your act together . This whole town relies on you to get their residents home
Safely!! Put more than 2 taxis on and you will get a better reputation!
