Woodvale Park Veterinary Hospital - Woodvale Vet

We were extremely disappointed with our experience here and will not be returning. Our dog had injured his ACL and after contacting multiple vets Woodvale advised us they could do the scans to diagnose and if required would bring in an outside surgeon to undertake the TPLO surgery. Upon arrival the vet was very negative, commenting on our dogs weight and bad breath, and came across very unprofessional. After giving our dog the premeds we were left to wait in the main entry while they kicked in despite us advising our dog gets anxious/reactive - they had multiple consult rooms vacant which would have made it a less stressful experience (as a number of people kept entering the main entry while we were waiting with our dog). Then to top it off after the xrays etc were performed we were told we would receive a call about the results and follow up plan for surgery. The call never came. So we then followed up only to be told they no longer offer that surgery as an option - so it appears they were happy to take our money for xrays etc knowing full well they were never going to perform the surgery.

The service staff were caring and the vet did an excellent job in identifying my dog's problem and providing me with a solution.

I have been taking my puppy to Woodvale Park Vets for over 7 months now. The manner in which they deal with you pet is outstanding. The staff are so friendly, supportive and helpful. They have extensive knowledge and are always wiling to take time to explain your pets issues with you. They really do love your pets ! when I leave my puppy with them I know he is in the best hands.

I have been visiting the Woodvale Vet for many years and have always felt that my dog and cat were well looked after.But they couldn't live for ever and sadly the past 6 months we had to make the decision to have them put to sleep.The staff made this traumatic,sad experience for us more bearable by their kindness and understanding,even sending us a personalised condolence card in the mail with paw prints.
I have now got 2 new puppies that I have taken to the Woodvale vets and will continue to have them looked after there for a long time as my other 2 pets had been.I have referred many friends there over the years and will continue to do so as each staff member that I have come into contact with has always been friendly and helpful..and most important they love my pets!!!

I've been a client of Woodvale Vet for a few years, however was not aware of the new owners until a recent visit. I am very impressed with the level of care & friendly staff, who made the whole experience relaxing and hassle free with the added option of appointments being available. I visited Woodvale vet a few weeks ago when I needed a same day appointment at that stage I hadn't chosen a vet for my puppy however after my visit I have been back already for my puppy's vaccination and will continue to use in the future. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and provided me with valuable information.
