Excellent service, delivery handover and genuine sale

Had been to other dealerships and was very disappointed with the service, Dave at Harrigan Kia went through all my concerns regarding a suitable vehicle for my family and an easy process from my trade in to delivery , would recommend this dealership for the sale, delivery and and information regarding service of my vehicle road side assist incl thru warranty and was ensured any issues would only be a phone call away , Jordan was also very helpful on delivery , Thank you

Very bad experience

I had a problem with water in my fuel filter I took my car to Harrigan fords service centre at Yalla as I had only purchased the vehicle from Harrigan ford only three weeks prior.

They inspected the vehicle and told me that their was water in the fuel so I agreed to them draining the fuel tank and replacing the fuel filter as they suggested so they went ahead and done the job I received a call two days later saying the vehicle was fixed and ready to be picked up everything was perfect until I got the bill

I was changed $45 for a new fuel filter $30 for fuel that they claim to have put in the vehicle but the fuel gage was reading empty on pick up and they also changed me $650 for labor at over $100 an hour they claimed it took over 6 hours to drain the fuel tank and replace the fuel filter.

I questioned them about the excessive time it took to do the job and the excessive cost they basically told me it is what it's and that's how long it took after a lengthy debate the manager said he would take a $100 of the cost .

I went to three other machanics the following day and asked them how long would it take to this type of repair and I was quoted 1 to two hours so be very careful when dealing with Harrigan ford service department they may rob you blind as they tried to do to me

If you didn't buy your car here, don't bother with the service department.

I had my Mondeo in for a week to get the fuel pump replaced only to find continuing issues with the fuel system that had me return 3 times to get it finally fixed.
Each time i was put on the back of the line with "no courtesy car available", meaning i had to borrow vehicles to get to work and take my family anywhere.
After the initial work was done, they failed to mention that they destroyed one of the electrical connectors to the pump and did a dodgy repair on it and hoped for the best.
Three days in the shop led to a simple repair and a solution to my problems. This could have been avoided if they owned up to the mistake and fixed it, I dred to think of what else the did to my car.

Overall the staff were friendly on the phone, but not very helpful until i was in for $5600 in repairs. Even then, there was no priority given to the job and there poor work led to mistakes.

If you have the choice to use another mechanic without voiding your warrenty, i highly recommend it.
