Golden Lor Yarrabilba Chinese Restaurant & Takeaway

I ordered about $50 worth of food for myself, asked if I was eating in or taking away, I said EAT IN and sat down at a table. Food came out, I was pretty hungry so wasn’t taking my time, was just flicking thru social media on my phone and getting my dinner down, then half way through my meal when the waitress came over to tell me “I’m just letting you know WE’RE CLOSING NOW SO I’LL JUST BRING YOU SOME PLASTIC CONTAINERS!!! ... so you take take your dinner home..

I was pretty stunned by that and said... THEN WHY DID YOU LET ME SIT AT A TABLE?

No reply, she ran to the kitchen and came back with containers and said sorry. ...



I have NEVER experienced such bad service in my life! I’m a foodie, spend wayyy too much on eating out and this place is in my neighbourhood so for the sake of 10 minutes they have lost out badly.

Really sad to see Chinese (not surprisingly) being so callous, rude without any understanding courtesy, good manners, good service, encouraging loyal customers.

They genuinely don’t care

I’d also AVOID THE CHICKEN, it’s manufactured meat from god knows what, google that! but whatever they’re passing off as chicken without the sauce all over it... DON’T EAT IT!... if it doesn’t have skin and isn’t on the bone, you can’t positively identify it... DON’T EAT IT!
