Hire A Hubby as a Franchisor is only interested in image and can offer no real assistance when dealing with a rogue Hire A Hubby Franchisee. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. Now taking Hire a Hubby Upwey to VCAT over deceptive and misleading conduct and refusal to remedy contract failure.

Head Office Number only staffed by message takers. When putting in a complaint, they say we will pass it on, someone will call you. Never happens. I had left over rubbish, handyman didn't pick it up, kept making excuses.Then, when I complained about him, and provided evidence that he did lie to me about not having a ute (ute was supposed to be at the repairers), all of a sudden, he picked up the rubbish. Then he sent me a nasty e-mail. I passed it on to Head Office, and guess what? No reply yet again. "Oh, I'm sorry, I only take messages". They can go jump, I'll never use them again. I hope they go totally broke.

Hire a Hubby Ringwood overcharges, does extra work when not requested and over charges, $235 to adjust a toilet door lock, no materials AND the tenant says he was there no longer than 10 minutes i mean seriously!!

Got a quote from Daniel on 20/10/15 to repair vinyl floor in the toilet (over 6wks ago now). He never answered my calls or called back (job was probably too small). I complained to Hire a Hubby & Jayden called & said he would look after the job as Daniel had stuffed a few people around. Jayden sent me a quote on 10/11/15 (more expensive, than Daniel's quote but I didn't complain as I just wanted the job done). Jayden attended & said he'd have to return as he needed some more materials.. fine I thought.. Well now he won't return unless he gets a deposit for a bigger job to make the trip worth it. And to make matters worse he hasn't returned my email from 3 days ago as I was trying to get some commitment from him. Just absolutely useless & I'd never use or recommend to anyone. And Hire a Hubby, I have 4 investment properties & you've lost me as a customer & the 12,000 people I work with. Because word of mouth is the best form of advertising & I'll be sure to pass on my bad experiences..
