What sort of exercise will my dog get?
Index
The type of exercise that your dog will get while staying in kennel accommodation is dependent on the kennel you choose and also sometimes on the “level” of accommodation that you choose.
Walkies!
Gone are the days when the only option you had for your furry family member was a small kennel at the end of a long dog run. The modern kennel offers services and levels of accommodation that compete with a five star hotel. Exercise for guests isn’t just walking, it can now include activities such as swimming, free run in a large enclosed area, games such as fetch, stimulation activities such as those used in obedience training and good old fashioned dog-on-dog playtime. Every kennel is different so make sure you ask lots of questions.
My dog doesn’t like other dogs
Exercise regimes at reputable kennels are designed with the owners consultation. If your pet prefers to play alone then that will be catered for. If your pet is large or small, quiet or rowdy, a loner or a dog that enjoys playing with other dogs, their needs and preferences can be catered for.
So, no matter what level of exercise and stimulation your dog prefers, you will be able to find a dog hotel or boarding kennel to suit.
