Mindarie Workshop & Auto Electrical

Took my car in for a service to this place. Will be the very first and very last time il be taking it here ever again. went home only to find they had topped my car with way too much oil and made a mess of the engine bay by doing a sloppy job of it, we had to drain abit of it out in order for the car to start running properly again. Don’t waste your money or time with this place.

I DO NOT recommend this place. They are extremely rude, have aggressive behaviour and admit to NO DUTY OF CARE for your vehicle. Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere!!

Wanted to give nil stars.I bought a new car to this place, the first and only place i went to just to take over the pits and when i had it returned to me there was a huge dent in the door.
They tried to hide it in the shadows amoung other cars to try push the blame on them when there was no cars in the other bay lot infront of there shop.
They denied responsibilty and said it could happen if you went to coles and offered to give me a number to someone who could fix at MY expense and told me they have no such thing as a duty of care there.
Terrible way to run a buisness and wouldnt recommend to anyone who likes there vehicle

Receptionist is the most unhelpful rude person I have come across as the 'face of a business' and clearly doesn't want to be there. The rest of the experience received was very poor as well, no communication, slow, rude and over priced, DO NOT RECOMMEND !

Just like to congratulate & praise Dave Durrant for the way he recently handled an issue arising from recent auto electrical work carried out by one of his technicians. To cut a long storey short, it was established by an independent auto examiner that initial work carried out my Mindarie Workshops (with the installation of a dual battery system) had inadvertently & directly resulted with my air conditioning hose failing some months later. I initially thought it was a warranty item however once the car dealer rejected my warranty claim I took the issue back to Dave seeking further clarification. When I took it to Dave he simply engaged with the examiner to investigate the dealerships claims. Once it was established that the damage was in fact as a direct result of their unrelated work in installing a dual battery supply, Dave accepted & took full responsibility & quickly compensated me an agreed amount. What I appreciated in this instance was how Dave sat and listened to me, did not dismiss my issue immediately, looked at all the fact subjectively, engaged and paid for an examiner (at this cost), took responsibility and compensated accordingly. These guys replaced an alternator for me... To do this they had to take off a wheel arch cover, sure they did the job fine but they actually forgot to put the arch cover back on which means theres a massive opening behind my front wheel now which means water and road debri can make its way into the engine cavity of my car, this can really do some damage! When I mentioned it to them they just denied it and said it had just fallen off at some point. Also if you go to their yard you will find a ridiculous amount of cars parked outside waiting to be repaired that day, it shows that all they are interested in is smashing out as much work as they can and unfortunately for you the customer care goes down. Also know 2 other people who have had issues simular to this at Mindarie workshop, its a shame really as I dont like bad mouthing anyone but I would certainly not recommend Mindarie workshop to anyone looking for a decent mechanic without headaches.

Always provide great service at a great price. Everyone is always helpful and happy share there knowledge.

I have only experienced warmness and friendliness at this workshop and a professional aire.
