I finally caved in and bought an iphone last year. Fortunately there wasnt a line when I was there but it was still pretty busy. The displays, store layout and large number of staff ready and waiting to assist customers is pretty impressive.
I knew exactly what I wanted so it was an easy job for the staff. They assisted with the phone set up, though I didnt like the way they skipped through the terms and conditions stage suggesting its too long and not worth me reading it. Makes you a little suspicious. That being said, the overall experience was still pretty good. The staff knew their stuff and Ive been fairly happy with my iPhone since.

So. Far. Away. What's with Apple being unable to get a store close to the Melbourne CBD?

The few times I've needed to head out here they've been unable to keep to the appointments I've set up before hand, leaving me standing around for up to 30 minutes. The second time I went they didn't even have stock in to replace the faulty iPhone I was returning, making the entire trip a waste of time.
