Ideal Pools

Because a broker sent our contract to this company - we did not do our homework. If anyone was considering this pool company they ought to do some research first. The female behind the company 'Janet' seems to think yelling at customers is acceptable! They are not flexible and want in and out very quickly once they get started!. We had to sort legal advice to end this contract and finish our pool with more reputable trades people. Would never recommend this company!

Ideal Pools built our pool 15 years ago and it's still amazing. A couple of days before Christmas our pool pump died and we contacted Ron and Janet to see if they could recommend a supplier for replacement. In the Christmas spirit they just gave us a great working 2nd hand pump, even quieter than our old one! What great service from a friendly family company. Greatly appreciated and highly recommended.

My pool is absolutely beautiful construction took a bit longer than anticipated but the outcome is amazing. So worth the wait ..A small family business and every stage that was completed was in a very professional maner.

Please don't waste your money and source out another company. The first stages went well but then came to a holt with the pebbling which took well over the 60 days that was promised. We had some minor defects once completed that needed to be fixed. After more than 3 months of emailing, phoning and then having to finally threaten to go to QBCC they finally sort of mixed their faults. Their customer service skills are NO GOOD and they don't really have any after customer service, but they are good at bagging out everyone else, I will give them that.

Please don't waste your money and source out another company. We decided to go with them being a local company only, didn't read reports before hand. First off they started well with the stages but then the final stage of pebbling took forever, so all up well over the 60 days that was promised. We had minor defects that needed to be fixed after the completion, which took more than 3 months to get done, through numerous phoning and emailing to them (no one every gets back to you) and infact only getting fixed after I threatened to go to QBCC. They really have no after care customer service at all

Happy with the end result, but never recrived swim cord which is in my contract even though I emailed and rang for months. Not much communication happens in this company so if your happy to do the chasing yourself and just put up with the mess and back and forth. You do end up with a lovely pool at the end but it is a bit of a tough slog

From start to finish, we cannot fault Ideal Pools on anything! Such a quick and easy process with fantastic communication and a really friendly team. If you are thinking of having a pool installed, I would highly recommend Ideal Pools!!
Please remember there can and probably will be delays in some processes, expect that and work with it! Your yard will be a mess as it is a work site! Expect it and move on!! Thank you Ideal Pools for making our dream pool a reality!!

Not only did they trash our yard and refuse to clean it up as it 'wasnt in the contract', they were absolutely disrespectful and rudely defensive when we asked any questions, WE had to contact THEM to keep the ball moving, what was meant to take 6 weeks MAX took well over 3 months, the tradies they use have no respect for peoples yards or houses (doing damage to our property and leaving rubbish and any other products they did need to take with them- big piles of sand, concrete all over our patio and outdoor setting), and dont get me started on the lady who 'runs the place'. Ive never spoken to someone more disrespectful in my life! For someone who is meant to run a business she has no customer service skills what so ever! Instead of taking responsibitly for any problems that occured or any damaged that was made it was always 'well thats not my problem' or 'its not in the contract'. Just rude behaviour from the lot of them..
Do not waste your money or time. They are nice and friendly at the beginning, but as soon as they get your money thats when the politeness ends..
Worst company ive ever worked with!! EVER!!

This company took months to complete the pool. Swore at me when I questioned them. Had hidden costs. Left me with a pool that leaks and refused to fix it. A very bad experience.
