Cheap As Chips Steam & Dry Cleaning Services Pty Ltd

Was quoted a square meter rate to steam clean our carpets. When the technician arrived he pretended to measure the rooms but just made up how many square meters our rooms are - unsurprisingly it was significantly more than our actual bedroom size. He then told me the rate based on his measurements which was more than I expected. It wasn't till he left I realised the rooms were smaller than he told me. I didn't question at the time because I didn't expect the technician to try to rip me off.

Don't use Cheap as Chips - find a different carpet cleaning company.

I was quoted $80 and then on the day my partner who had no idea of the quote was told she had to pay $137 for the job. She paid unknowingly and called me straight away. I followed this up with the cheap as chips office and they lied to me about extra chemicals and other hidden costs before telling me it was just what it cost.

I had spoken the man doing the job who told me it was a standard job and no extra chemicals required.



Peter is very untrustworthy and I would advise taking your business elsewhere as they will rip you off blind.

I had a terrible experience with this company.

The cleaners broke $1400 worth of furniture. They also removed the furniture from my home, so effectively just took $1400 worth of furniture. Cheap as Chips promised to reimburse me, but weeks later, still hadn't. Every time I rang the office, I was told that Peter, the manager, was "unavailable". When I did manage to talk to him, he repeatedly promised the money would arrive in my account "next week", which it never did. In the end, I had to threaten to go to the police before the money was repaid.
I would strongly advise you to avoid this company.

Had vacate cleaning done last week to get my bond back. Sunil and kirti done fantastic job . House looks so clean snd fresh will recommned there services.....

Original price quoted was not what they charged, carpets were left wet. Will not reschedule appointments, training in customer service, public relations and just plain manners required for their phone operator
