My ancient tv antenna had finally given up the ghost, to the point where both of the two small tvs in the house could each receive only one network out of the normal five (ABC, SBS, TEN, SEVEN and NINE), a different one in each case, and that only very intermittently, erratically, with much interference. NU-Life TV Antenna Service had a technician, Rob, out to assess the problems the day after I first rang them, and the replacement and adjustment done, and completed, within the same week. The reception here is very difficult, with nearby surrounding vegetation , and a large adjacent bay; the nett result is that much of the reception is less a matter of direct reception than of reflected reception bouncing off the hills surrounding the bay. Rob knew exactly what I was talking about when I tried to explain this, and was prepared to ‘think outside the box’ where necessary, whereas others might well have refused to believe me, or, more honestly, turn down what to the was a non-standard job. Within the week I had two television sets, BOTH of which are receiving all 5 networks perfectly, something I do not remember ever happening even when they were new, due, I think, to his inspired addition of a reception booster. All done under difficult conditions, with courtesy and understanding .
