We provide a responsive, reliable, professional service, to clients who value a premium customer experience above all else.
Our family-owned business started out in 2013 primarily working with strata management companies, and property managers. It was a small business that has grown from a guy in a truck running his business from home to the well-oiled professional plumbing and electrical business you see today.
We now focus on residential plumbing and electrical maintenance with a team of over 50 people. Do you provide a warranty for your work?
All jobs are covered by our workmanship warranty and any applicable manufacturer's warranty.
Do you use sub-contractors or your own plumbers & electricians?
All of our plumbers and electricians are full time employees personally selected by the business owner. When choosing new team members, they must meet very strict criteria before we employ them. They must be polite, friendly, tidy, clean, presentable, courteous and proud of the job they do. They are all focused on providing quality service. That's why we only rely on our own hand-picked team.
What is your "Royal Treatment Guarantee"?
Feeling respected, comfortable and in good hands is the key to peace of mind when you need a plumber or electrician — and only we offer our "Royal Treatment Guarantee". If we’re not polite, friendly and reliable, we’ll make it right with a “Limo and Bubbles Experience” (up to $200).
Do you charge extra for emergencies?
For emergency same-day service, we do have a $95 call-out, but we waive this when you proceed with any job during normal business hours - 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday. If your job is out of normal hours, it is a $95 call-out regardless of whether you proceed or not. This is to cover our technician's time away from family after hours.
What is your “We Clean or We Pay the Cleaner” Guarantee all about?
Hiring tradespeople who leave your home cleaner than they found it, is the key to stress-free repairs — and it’s only possible thanks to our “We Clean or We Pay the Cleaner” Guarantee (up to $200). So, if you feel our cleanup didn't meet with your expectations, we'll come back and clean up or we'll pay for your cleaner (up to $200).
How much will it cost?
If you are interested in hiring our team for a service, we will be glad to provide you with an upfront fair, accurate, and never-changing estimate for the works needed. We believe in true transparency of showing you the exact cost of each job before we start. That way, you will know the exact cost before we even start your job.
How long do I need to wait for a plumber or electrician?
That's up to you. If you have an emergency like burst sewer pipes, flooding, broken hot water system, we can be there 24/7. For less urgent jobs, we will do our best to fit in with your schedule.
Do you charge a callout?
The only time we charge a callout is when there's an after-hours emergency. For all other jobs, there is no callout cost. Which is great news for our clients new and old.
What is your “Clock’s Ticking, $10 Per Minute Late” Guarantee?
Tradies who value your time as much as you do are the key to hassle-free service — and only we back it with our “Clock’s Ticking, $10 Per Minute Late” Guarantee (up to $200). If we provide you with an arrival time, and we are late, we'll pay you $10 per minute for every minute we are running behind (up to $200).
Do you have a Seniors Discount?
Yes, it's 10%. So please remember to show your plumber or electrician your Seniors Card.

Johan came out to investigate a leaking shower. Although he wasn’t able to fix the issue on the spot, he took the time to explain clearly why the problem couldn’t be resolved immediately and outlined the next steps and options for a proper repair. I appreciated the honesty and the helpful advice.

Reactive Plumbing responded to my inquiry the same day and the job was completed the next day. Jackson was professional and personable. Even for this small job I was given 2 written quotes, one for repair and the other for replacement. Jackson tested for leaks once the repair was completed and cleaned up afterwards. He also kindly adjusted my kitchen tap and shower shelves, which was asked of him on the spot.
I highly recommend this company for their professionalism and quality workmanship. Jackson was easy to communicate with and sowed attention to detail.

Tarin and Gus were very professional and polite. They fixed the problem very quickly without any hassle, explained everything clearly, gave a fair quote, and cleaned up after finishing the job. They were very happy to help and I highly recommend them to anyone who needs a trustworthy and skilled plumber.

I had my kitchen sink and tap changed, and also had an undersink filter installed, connected directly to the tap. It wasn’t a simple jib because the bench top had to be cut. Matthew managed the whole thing competently while providing personalised service. Dennis, the stone mason did a great job. Billy supported them and kept me well informed throughout the process. Billy knows his job well and does it meticulously, and enthusiastically. I’m very happy with the outcome.

We called Reactive Plumbing when we had a sewer blockage. The telephone response was both friendly and professional and they had a Plumber (Matt) on site within 45 minutes. Matt was also very professional and extremely diligent. He communicated every step clearly and as we needed a pipe reline he then gave us three options on how to proceed and explained the pros and cons of each option. He spent a total of 41/2 hours on site as the blockage was very hard to clear. Overall we are very satisfied with Matt and Reactive plumbing and would recommend them. The job number we had allocated was 51031. He also sat down with us and went through the video of the cctv camera showing exactly where the blockage was and where other cracks in the pipe were.

Had Johan de Bruyn come over today to initially fix a leaky toilet. While we had him there we took the opportunity to get to look at (and fix) 2 other toilets, repair 3 external taps, replace a flick mixer tap in the kitchen and then ultimately replace our hot water service. Whilst all this work was anticipated in our initial call, Johan’s professionalism and tireless work meant we got a really good job done in good time. His communication and friendly approach meant this was a really good experience for us
