      toilet repair

      Overpriced and Cause more problems

      Company come out and was meant to clean our Aircon, went on to break the aircon to point of it not working. Do not trust this business or any of its other names.

      Rip off merchants.

      Mr Emergency a.k.a Metropolitan Services / Plumbing - search for the Current Affair / Channel 9 program on them. Basically ripped me off - sent me a $2.2K invoice for an hour of their Engineers time to diagnose a gas leak on my air conditioning unit, work defined on their invoice as a “rejuvenation” which when asked they would not define what that actually means! As I understand rejuvenation to means to make good / repair, which they did not do! This invoice was received afterwards I was not told at any point prior approximately what their charges will be!

      Do an ABN search for their business name Plumbing & Gas Pty Ltd, you will find a long list of trading names including Mr Emergency & Metropolitan, clearly well dodgy if they need so many trading names complaint raised with Office of Fair Trading & QBCC.

      BEWARE DO NOT USE THIS CO THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF!

      Hot water system installation

      Just got a new hot water system fitted in. The technician was punctual, explained everything clearly, and left no mess behind. It's been a week and the water's perfectly heated every time. Genuine pro at work. Couldn't be happier with the service!

      Overpriced and Don't Fix your Problem

      I called out MrEmergency to fix a hydronic heating system boiler. Firstly they arrived promptly after paying the $141 call out upfront. The person who came out made me sign a contract with the promise someone else would be over to fix the problem they identified in a few hours. After I signed their expensive contract ($2449) they then said no one can arrive for another 4 days. When someone did arrive they didn't diagnose or fix the problem. MrEmergency (who are really just Metropolitan contractors who attended) told me to find someone else to fix it. Another contractor fixed the problem in less than 5 minutes for $720.
