      Gouging whether an emergency or not.DONT USE!

      $141 callout fee, ontop of actual job cost.

      Cost of job 3 times more expensive than using another tradie/company.

      The reason? Mr Emergency/Metropolitan, do not use hourly rates. They used a 'fixed price'. This fixed price, allegedly includes labour and costs for night, weekends and public holidays.

      They charge the same fixed price whether an emergency or not and whether during the normal work day or Xmas day/night.

      So my outrageous quote of nearly $2000, would have been the same 24/7 365 days.

      Why should I pay high costs when not outside normal hours.

      Even as an emergency, I found a licensed plumber, who came out within 2 hours, didn't charge a call out fee and fixed the problem cleaned up and charged under $700!!!!

      Mr Emergency/Metropolitan have no transparency on how they justify these 'costs', they just allege these include overheads for providing a 24/7 service.

      So, they are expecting me to subsidise customers who need a tradie on Xmas day!!!!

      Even if it is an out of hours booking, it is cheaper to go elsewhere

      Clogged main line

      I had a plumbing emergency with our main line clogged, causing water to back up into our shower. At 7am, I was worried we wouldn’t find anyone open, but Mr Emergency made it incredibly easy to book online, and I was able to speak with someone right away. They scheduled a plumber to come out that very morning.



      Technician arrived on time and was an absolute lifesaver. He resolved the issue in just 20 minutes and took the time to explain what caused the clog and offered long-term solutions in case it happens again.



      Mr Emergency’s professionalism and their 3-month warranty on repeat clogs give us peace of mind. We’ll definitely be using their services again!
