      Beware of Mr Emergency Electricians Melbourne

      We called this company to check on a tripping fault in our unit. They charged a call-out fee which was fair enough. They then quoted $2,300 to investigate the issue (which they were going to charge $1000 for 1 hour’s work) and replace a safety switch. This is absolutely a scam. Don’t go near them.

      Charge 10x higher, search A Current Affair story

      These people ripped my family off thousands of dollars charging 10x higher than any other electrician. Please search their name online. They have been on A Current Affair multiple times. There are countless people complaining online about the same. Australian law allows price gouging so they screw you legally. I was ripped off thousands of dollars. They advertise under hundreds of business names with Metropolitan Plumbing and electrical another of their names to research. Don’t call them. They destroy lives. They have ripped many off in the tens of thousands. One 90 year old they charged thousands to spend 10 minutes changing a $10 light switch. This should be beyond criminal. Be ware.

      Sewage problem

      JP was at my house within an hour of my call. Sewage backup is quite upsetting but he cleared the blockage. JP was courteous and very efficient. He explained everything to me and offered to help in the event I needed more information.The service was a bit pricey but piece of mind on a Friday night is priceless. Mr Energency will be my first call now!
