Never use Mr emergency

We hired them for a minor electrical issue. They charged us over $2000 for less than 2hrs work.

All they did was find and replace a $10 power point then continued to harass us for $2000 plus.

After then refunding a partial amount continually harassed us via email and phone. This is price gauging at its finest.

Do your homework first on this company.

These guys are not only professional and experts, but pragmatic. I just had them come over to my mom’s house while I was away and they talked me through everything and guided me in the best way to fix things in the most cost effective manner.

I don’t know why it is so hard to get an electrician out same day! But these guys pulled through for us and were able to handle everything in a matter of hours!! Super impressed with their service!!

Service was exceptional and extremely professional!! Technician was wonderful. I will be using this service again.

Outstanding customer service. Definitely will use them again. The service technician even protected his boots on my carpet without me even asking! That’s just awesome!

Waited 4 hours for technicians. Handed $1200 quoatation for fixing one tap handle. Later, it is fixed by my house owner in 5 minutes with $10 washer. They think we are stupid and belive whatever they said.

Absolutely insane pricing!!! Paid the $141.90 callout fee and when he arrived, I showed him the pipe that was damaged near the meter. He took photos, showed them to his boss and came back with a quote of $949 to "Conduct a visual gas leak investigation up to 1 hour using leak detection spray over all visible joins".

This was already done by the plumber at the gas company, we already know exactly where the issue is but it needs another investigation? And $950 for 'up to 1 hour' is 9x the standard rate for any plumber and that's for the full hour. This would take 5 minutes tops to confirm and I already paid the callout fee.



Keep in mind this was for investigation only, he estimated that fixing a 30cm bit of pipe would be a 'few grand' to fix. I told him to leave and I'll get someone else.



The guy who arrived was nice enough but embarrassed about his boss and the pricing. If you're happy to pay 5-10x what it should cost for plumbing work then I can imagine this guy would have been fine, but I can't endorse price gouging.

Normally i dont write reviews. But the problem with this service is that they think customers are stupid and foolish. They can charge whatever they like. They send me the quotation of $1200 for changing just $10 washer for the tap of my sink. They said i have to the change the entire tap and handle just for few leakage of water from tap. later on, house owner fixed himself everything with just $10 washer in 5 minutes.

What a rip off. $1200 to replace a RCD and another $1200 to replace security light. Doesn't really come in 30 minutes. Instead they say they will be there in 30 minutes to 4 hours. Also technicians started putting their stickers on all electrical items.

I called up about our fluorescent kitchen oyster light that was flickering. We informed them on the phone that we’d already tried replacing the tube and starter, and so we needed someone to come replace the ballast.



They said sure, they just need to send someone to quote it in person and then they can fix it on the spot. The callout for that quote/inspection was an upfront $141.90 before they would come. So we paid it and waited for them to come out.



They got here, took a picture on their iPad, and then said. “Oh, that needs a ballast replacement. We don’t do those, we just replace whole light fixtures”. They then quoted $1049 to replace it. We asked if they could send us the quote and for us to think about it. They were a bit annoyed at this and said you “won’t get a better price elsewhere and I can fix it now”.



We called around and we had 3 different electricians around $300 to do the job, with no callout fee. The job being the full light replacement, not just the ballast. Obviously, we went with one of them.



Very very dissatisfied and feeling ripped off by the callout fee alone.
