      Emergency service

      Needed emergency services for our sewer line and the team did a fantastic job of supporting us! Very straight forward in regards to pricing and estimates, made themselves readily available to answer our calls and were quick to schedule and resolve our issues.       BADLY (Air)Conned

      I don't know how I could've been so stupid!



      I needed an air-conditioner service and I checked ratings of service companies on the Yellow Pages app and chose one that looked good. (I actually chose Cyber Air-conditioning but when the man arrived, he was in a Mr Emergency truck.)



      However in retrospect, I should've been more awake to the fact that virtually all ratings were five stars and all raters had only done one review so it is likely that most if not all were hoaxes. The only other raters give one star (and probably would've preferred to give no stars at all!) and link this company to Metropolitan and others which have been shown on a previous A Current Affair review to be scammers. https://9now.nine.com.au/a-current-affair/metropolitan-plumbing-a-current-affair-tracks-down-plumbing-boss/4b343d99-3c14-4a36-8fa4-53f53168636c.



      However, I only found this out in retrospect. The alarm bells should've started ringing when I rang to ask for a service and was told that the quote would cost $140. The man who came to look at it spent about five minutes and then provided me with a quote for around $1800 to have the air-conditioner serviced. It seemed an awful amount and I regret having made the spot decision to go ahead, having already spent $140, and thinking it would be a top-notch service. However, given what was done, I think $400 would've been a maximum price.



      I really don't know if anything can be done to stop them, but whatever you do, don't use them!
